  • Embrace Imperfection: Small stumbles, natural pacing, and minor tangents make you human. They make your audience lean in.
  • Lead With Emotional Truth: Start from what actually happened or what you genuinely felt. Emotion is more persuasive than clever phrasing.
  • Cut the Tricks: Remove overly engineered hooks, gimmicks, or “viral” tactics that distract from the story’s heart.
  • Make It Relatable: Anchor the story in universal experiences. Humor, curiosity, or vulnerability connects across audiences without artificial effort.
